Forget everything you know about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. When mods are in play, all conventional knowledge of how things work or should look like gets thrown out the window.
Twitch streamer PointCrow, who we’ve highlighted before, recently played a special version of the open world game made by two fans, SDarkMagic and Greenlord. Nearly everything you can think of is different here, though it takes a few minutes for things to start rolling.
Link, who honestly looks more like a Lonk, has a baguette for a sword that can shoot guardian lasers. Tree branches, when swung, spawn a Divine Beast that will attack your enemies.
Our bizarrely stretched hero can also dress up to look like Sans from Undertale, who of course drives around in a convertible car. Keese have been replaced by swarms of flying Goombas. Shenron from Dragon Ball Z makes a surprise appearance, as does Charizard from Pokémon.
At one point, Link becomes the Goose from Untitled Goose Game, who of course goes on to shred on a snowboard. The goose eventually has to confront the Dark Magician Girl from Yu-Gi-Oh, because that’s the most logical crossover possible here.
Really, you should just watch it — it’s much more fun if you’re surprised by the cursed mods that make an appearance in this emulated version of the game.
