Not even Hollywood is safe from the coronavirus pandemic that has gripped much of the world.
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson announced they were tested positive for the virus Wednesday and received an outpouring of support from fellow stars.
Many other celebs shared their thoughts on the pandemic and how they've been coping with the virus.
"The View" co-host Joy Behar announced on the show Friday that she will be stepping away from the ABC talk show temporarily as a safety precaution, citing her age, after her daughter insisted.
"I’m in a higher risk group because of my age, but I’m perfectly healthy," Behar, 77, said during a pre-taped episode that will air Friday. "I don’t look my age, but I’m actually up there. The number makes me dizzy."

Octavia Spencer, while on the phone to discuss her forthcoming Netflix series "Self Made: Inspired By the Live of Madam C.J. Walker," said she's going on a self-imposed isolation.
"Allow this process to happen. Pray for the world because this is a pandemic. People are losing loved ones every day. People are losing their livelihood. I’m going to be prayer-ful. I’m going to spend the time to read and reflect. And watch a lot of TV and Netflix,” Spencer said.
Reese Witherspoon told USA TODAY Thursday she's "feeling everything that everyone out there is feeling: Confusion, stress. I’m trying to look for the most scientific facts and not listen to too much opinion. I feel flooded by opinion. (I'm) talking to friends who I find very grounding. But Kerry and I are similar in that we both have young children and older parents and (are) just navigating that thoughtfully."
In a joint interview with Witherspoon, Washington agreed: "As Reese said, (I'm) trying to gather the information that we need to get in order to take care of ourselves and our loved ones, but also remembering that your stress level can impact your immunity, and so to try and be calm as well."
Amid concerns over Betty White's well being, her representative Jeff Witjas assures fans the 98-year-old icon is fine.
"Betty is doing well," Witjas told USA TODAY.

Other stars shared their thoughts on social media. Lady Gaga took to Twitter and encouraged her followers to be nice to one another.
"Now it’s as important as ever to be kind. For those who are sick, or those who are not and are scared," she wrote. "We’re in this together. I love you world."
Mariah Carey shared a video on Tik Tok of her washing her hands with her children to a song.
"Exercising this to 20 seconds of Ol' Dirty Bastard! Wash your hands! Stay safe!!!" she captioned the clip with a heart emoji.
Kristen Bell took to her Instagram Stories to share a heartfelt message after sharing some memes about the virus.
"There are alot (sic) of jokes being made about the coronavirus right now. I just wanna be clear: My deepest condolences go out to the people and families effected (sic) by this virus," she wrote. "I also know there are a ton of us trying to figure out how to deal with the panic of this whole thing. So lets let the joke and the memes get us through this, together. People feel calmer and closer when they laugh together. Comedy bonds people."
In a comment on one of Bell's posts about proper hand-washing techniques, Leslie Jones said she's scared for the world.
"This makes me sad. Why people don’t know how to wash their hands are we in kindergarten 🙄omg I’m so scare (sic) for our world," Jones wrote.
Bette Midler aimed her frustrations towards Donald Trump and his policies on Thursday.
"So...what possessed Trump to dismantle the US Pandemic Response team put in place by #Obama, for just such an event as the one we are living through now? #JEALOUSY!" she tweeted. "This schmuck is so self centered, selfish, and COLOSSALLY STUPID...only worried about his own fat (expletive)."
While the coronavirus has caused widespread panic among people, Alicia Keys offered an uplifting message.
"Sending u light right now Just a reminder to keep your energy high. Theres a lot going on but take care of yourself, love on your family, and remind yourself to take a deep breathe and stay calm," the "Fallin'" artist wrote to Twitter. "Don’t forget that I love u."

Mark Ruffalo urged his followers to look to experts for guidance.
"Folks, although coronavirus can be mild for some it is devastating to others, especially the elderly. Listen to the scientists and doctors not to Fox News and the White House. They are misleading you," the actor wrote. "This is more deadly and far more contagious."
Miley Cyrus, on the other hand, offered some blunt advice. "Wash your damn hands," she tweeted alongside a step-by-step poster of proper hand-washing technique with soap and water.
Most "non-essential" large gatherings like concerts and world premieres have been canceled to curb the spread of coronavirus which had John Legend reflecting on the entertainment industry's importance.
"Now that folks are cancelling non-essential travel and events, u start to realize how much we schedule that's non-essential. Of course, what we do is critical to human joy, inspiration, etc, but our entire entertainment industry is full of individually non-essential events," the Grammy winning artist wrote.
