Several action items were approved during the meeting of the Glasgow School Board on Wednesday, September 16.
According to unofficial minutes from the meeting, the board approved the return of .23 acres (9,930 feet) of property that was donated to the school back to the original donor. The small piece of property is on the upper hillside adjacent to the new John Donaldson ball field. Prior to surveying the property for the construction of the ball field, it was believed to be owned by another individual. The district has never used nor maintained the land. Per district policy, if the land is not going to be used nor maintained, the district may return the donated property to the original donor.
In other news, the board approved the bus routes for the 2020-21 school year; the 2020-21 Professional Development Plan; and the John Donaldson Field Complex handbook.
