The Raiders’ proceeds from the sale of personal seat licenses at Allegiant Stadium continues to smash original estimates and has now climbed to $549 million.

Initial estimates by the team projected PSL sales would generate around $250 million.

When the PSLs sold out in January, the revenue generated by sales sat at $478 million. The new total provided at Thursday’s Las Vegas Stadium Authority board meeting revealed that number is still rising.

The $71 million increase from January is tied to seat holders who are on the various financing plans making payments, according to Raiders President Marc Badain.

All the proceeds from the PSL sales are being infused into the nearly $2 billion stadium now under construction.

If you base strength of schedule for an NFL team on last season's win totals, the Las Vegas Raiders enter 2020 with the 12th-easiest schedule in the league. But when instead looking ahead and using OVER/UNDER win totals for 2020 from the oddsmakers, the Raiders face one of the NFL's toughest slates in the organization's first season in Las Vegas.

At 136.5 projected wins, Las Vegas has the league's third-toughest 2020 schedule according to the Westgate sportsbook.

The allure of seeing your favorite team play in Las Vegas likely also will draw plenty of fans from the visiting team each week, which could make some home games feel more like a neutral site.

The Raiders are doing their best to make sure the unusual times created by COVID-19 are as normal as possible.

In some cases, that means players taking it upon themselves, without the urging or orders of coaches, to be creative in finding ways to be as prepared as possible to hit the ground running when they can finally report to work.

Which is why you will find 20 or so Raiders players gathered at a local Las Vegas-area park on weekdays, Derek Carr and Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow among them, working on pass routes while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Why other players now living in the area are breaking into small groups and working out together at the home gyms of teammates, like the tight end group led by Darren Waller.
