2020 may have given Hailey Bieber a valid excuse to spend most days in Drew House loungewear, but her outfit for “date night” with husband Justin Bieber on 3 October proved the face of Versace’s Dylan Turquoise fragrance is more than ready to start getting dressed up again. In lieu of her typical biker shorts, the 23-year-old chose a spaghetti-strap little black dress for dinner in Los Angeles that could have been lifted from Rachel Green’s wardrobe – modelling the look in a triptych of images on husband Justin’s Instagram account.
Fittingly, she accessorised her mini-dress with By Far’s ’90s-inspired “Amber” shoulder-bag in glossy patent leather. Founded in 2016 by Valentina Bezuhanova, Sabina Gyosheva, and Denitsa Bumbarova, the brand’s tributes to the greatest millenium-era It-bags (and It-girls) have been snapped up by every fashion model this side of Sofia, from Kaia Gerber to Irina Shayk. Among the other By Far pieces in Bieber’s autumn wardrobe? Its square-toed Linda boots.
As for her choice of shoes for date night, Bieber once again turned to Femme Los Angeles – the California-based brand keeping the LA crowd in affordable square-toed heels. While she chose Femme’s towering Vignette stilettos for dinner at Nobu earlier this year, she traded them in for the Janis mule, which retails for less than £150, for her latest romantic dinner. Adding a touch of sparkle to the all-black look: Bieber’s namesake herringbone chain necklace by Fallon, which she’s barely taken off this summer.
