A location of Atlanta-based hot dog franchise The Original Hot Dog Factory opens beside Holmes Slice pizza next spring at the Halcyon food hall in Alpharetta. According to a press release, the location is owned by Izzy and Charity Ramos, who just opened an outpost of The Original Hot Dog Factory at Marietta Square Market in September.

The menu offers up to 18 varieties of hot dogs, like the Jamaican jerk chicken with grilled pineapples and island sauce, the taco dog with chili, cheese, and guacamole, a Chicago-style hot dog, and the Memphis dog with barbecue sauce, mustard, and shredded cheese. Salads, wings, and burgers are also available, along with funnel cake sticks, deep-fried Twinkies, and deep-fried Oreos for dessert.

New Atlanta locations will open soon at Southlake Mall, Sugar Loaf Mills, Perimeter Mall, Woodstock, and Cumberland Mall, joining the original Smyrna and downtown Atlanta restaurants and Marietta Square Market location. Nearly two dozen locations of The Original Hot Dog Factory are now open or planned for cities across the country, including Houston, Birmingham, Raleigh, Detroit, and Brooklyn.

The Original Hot Dog Factory was founded in 2010 by Atlanta entrepreneur and businessman, Dennis McKinley. McKinley has frequently appeared on the Bravo reality TV series “Real Housewives of Atlanta” with fiancĂ© Porsha Williams.

Pizza stall and slice joint Holmes Slice opened at the food hall over the summer. The stall, owned by chef Taylor Neary of Restaurant Holmes in Alpharetta, serves New York-, West Coast-, and Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas. A third location of Atlanta-based Hobnob Neighborhood Tavern opened at the south Forsyth county complex late last month, featuring two patios overlooking the greenspace. The second floor patio, dubbed Hobnob High Up, is reserved for people 21 years and up.
