You don't have to be a super fan to appreciate Netflix's new live-action adaptation of One Piece. The series has brought the legendary manga and anime to life in a totally new way while also giving old fans so much to look forward to thanks to its accuracy and its pacing. And even if this is your first time jumping into the One Piece world, then you might not actually know just how much the show has already covered in its 8-episode first season, especially since the manga and the anime have been going on for 1000+ chapters and episodes.
Here are all the arcs Netflix's One Piece live-action series has covered so far compared to the anime and the manga.
Season 1:
The first season of Netflix's One Piece covers the majority of the East Blue Saga, known to be the first saga of both the anime and the manga.
Episode 1 - Romance Dawn
Episode 1 of the live-action series covers half of the Romance Dawn arc which sets off Luffy's adventure.
Monkey D. Luffy, an optimistic young pirate with dreams of finding the One Piece, sets off in search of the loyal crew he needs to navigate the vast oceans. His journey begins when he helps Koby, a deckhand forced into servitude, escape an undesirable situation. While in Shells Town, Luffy meets Roronoa Zoro, a famed pirate hunter, and Nami, a master thief — and the three form a tenuous alliance.

Episode 2 - The Man in the Straw Hat
Episode 2 of the live-action series covers the rest of the Romance Dawn arc and the entire Orange Town arc.
Luffy, Zoro, and Nami find themselves imprisoned on an island overtaken by the deranged clown pirate, Buggy. Koby joins the Marines and proves his mettle.

Episode 3 - Tell No Tales
Episode 3 of the live-action series covers the first half of the Syrup Village arc.
Luffy, Zoro, and Nami land in Syrup Village, where they meet Usopp, a local who introduced the group to Kaya, a sickly shipyard heiress under the care of trio of overbearing house staff. With the help of Koby, Vice Admiral Garp, a powerful marine, sets off in search of Luffy.

Episode 4 - The Pirates Are Coming
Episode 4 of the live-action series covers the second half of the Syrup Village arc.
Luffy, Zoro, and Nami fight their way through Kaya's mansion, which has now become a prison. Usopp enlists the help of Koby, Helmeppo and the Marines. Luffy finally gets the ship of his dreams as Garp closes in.

Episode 5 - Eat at Baratie!
Episode 5 of the live-action series covers the first half of the Baratie Arc.
Luffy and the gang are tested in their ability to fight together on the high seas. They arrive at Baratie, a floating restaurant, where they encounter Sanji, a young chef with a love of fine dining. A duel on the docks shocks the group.

Episode 6 - The Chef and the Chore Boy
Episode 6 of the live-action series covers the second half of the Baratie Arc.
