Students of Cicero-North Syracuse High School will perform their spring musical, “This Will Be Our Year.” Performances will be 7 p.m. both Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24, and will be livestreamed on YouTube.
The show is an original musical and was created by the artistic team at CNS High School. It will include songs of the ’60s and ’70s by Three Dog Night, John Denver, The Monkees, The Beatles, Otis Redding, Cat Stevens, ABBA, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, and more. It focuses on a typical senior year in high school and is a tale that shows how experiences and situations from high school shape us into the people we will become.
The Cast includes Bowie Aldrich, Abby Calabria, Derrick Clark (as Johnny), Riley Crandall, Olive Crawford (as Brenda), Lily Dwyer, Jacob Garofalo (as Mr. D), Thomas Gilbo (as Dad), Kayla Guida (as Sherry), Ryan Hill, Jordan Hnatiw, Benji Hoffman (as Henry), Ciann Jackson (as Nurse), Julia Kulakowski (as Rosie), Brady Marchak (as Jeremiah), Mikey Mousaw (as Jude), Jaden Orloff (as Angie), Keith Peck (as Ben), Jessica Ricciardi, Victoria Scalisi (as Barbra), Jake Seitz, Alaina Sokolowski (as Kathie), Grace Sugrue, Lily Thorne (as Corina), Mackenzie White, Reilly Williams-Gardner (as Reilly WG), Sydney Wright (as Sunny).
Members of the Crew (stage and technical) include Erin Barney, Megan Chase (stage manager), Autumn Corkle, Spencer Congel, Morgan Dudley, Carson Duffy, Savannah Hefner, Renee McGlone, Megan Miles, Autumn Ragonese, and Drew Williams.
The Pit Orchestra includes Mark Adamski, Caryn Patterson, Scott Patterson, and Shane Patterson.
Although they will not be charging a ticket price for the show, donations will be accepted to help offset the losses from last year’s production of “Tuck Everlasting” and help the students continue to produce future shows at C-NS.
