Artists recorded Oscar-nominated Original Songs ahead of the big night.

Artists recorded Oscar-nominated Original Songs this week and we have a sneak peek.

The 93rd Academy Awards will be one to remember. The ceremony won't be quite like any other. Because of COVID-19 restrictions and safety protocols, the ceremony will take place mostly at Union Station Los Angeles (there is a limit of 170 people inside) — with some segments at the traditional Oscars home, the Dolby Theatre.

The performances for Best Original Song will also be different this year. They were pre-recorded this week and will be shown during the Oscars pre-show.

Hosted by actors Ariana DeBose (“Hamilton”) and Lil Rel Howery (“Bad Trip”), the 90-minute “Oscars: Into the Spotlight” pre-show will highlight the nominees’ journey to Hollywood’s biggest night and will showcase full performances of all five nominated Best Original Song nominees. “Oscars: Into the Spotlight” will air on Oscar Sunday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.

Celeste, H.E.R., Leslie Odom, Jr., Laura Pausini, Daniel Pemberton, Molly Sandén and
Diane Warren will perform their nominated Original Songs. One performance was recorded in Húsavík, Iceland, and the other four at the Dolby Family Terrace of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
