Pure Gold Mining Inc. said Tuesday that it has appointed Troy Fierro as president and chief executive officer, replacing Darin Labrenz.
The owner of the PureGold mine in Canada also promoted Vice President Chris Haubrich to chief financial officer, replacing Sean Tetzlaff.
The gold company added that, following operational improvements at the mine, it is now targeting daily production of between 600 and 700 metric tons for the first quarter of 2022. This would be up from throughput of 556 tons a day in the fourth quarter of 2021, which yielded 7,657 gold ounces.
Shares at 0809 GMT were down 2.4% at 40.5 pence.
