NYC Field Sales Rep – Original Sin Cider

Are you passionate about selling cider in NYC ?  Then…Original Sin is looking for you to join our team!  

We’re searching for a self-motivated, go-getter with a drive to succeed in all that you do. Does this describe you?  If so, here is what you’ll be doing:  Spreading the love of our ciders which; use freshly pressed New York apples, contain no additives and are inspiring a new generation to reach for a drinks category with a rich history both globally and in the United States.

Field Sales Rep will be responsible for visiting our accounts, finding new people to sell our cider to and educate consumers & retailers about cider.

Responsibilities

  • Visit accounts on a daily basis (on and off premise) and sell our ciders, sell in displays and execute sales plans agreed upon by our distributor and Area Manager. 
  • Present at retailer staff educations 
  • Host distributor educations, support or lead distributor sales meetings.  Events! Set up and run cider dinners, beer & cider festivals and any unique promotions that you can dream up. 

    Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year experience working for a distributor or cidery/brewery
  • A passion for cider 
  • Knowledge of the NYC market
  • Willingness to travel to New Jersey or Upstate NY and beyond to work/grow the market, attend crew drives, etc.
  • Understanding that this is more than a job, it’s a lifestyle. You’ll often work weekends or nights. You need to be flexible with your schedule and able to take downtime when the opportunity presents.

What you need to be successful here: 

A "can do” attitude, clean driving record, valid driver’s license and computer literacy (excel, word & PowerPoint) knowledge of VIP a plus.
