A Trumbull woman says her business will take part in International Women's Day on March 8.
Portia DiScala Antonio says she opened up Pure Poetry on Madison Avenue in 2015, and that 30% of the products are made by local artisans.
Some of the products include vegan leather bags, Jamaican Jerk sauce, soy candles and more.
On International Woman's Day, tthe boutique will be selling luminaries for the Southbury-based Pink Project's Light the Night.
All proceeds go to providing comfort to breast cancer patients.
